WEST HAZLETON - Files have been charged in relation to a home invasion robbery investigation, which dates back to 2014.
On October 21st of 2014, at around 2:30 in the morning, West Hazleton Police responded to the 300 block of Winters Avenue after 2 men reportedly forced entry into a residence.
They then fled the area with a television, cellular phone, and cash, according to reports.
Police discovered, after smashing a window to gain access, 2 men demanded cash from a female who was sleeping with her young child nearby.
The men threatened to shoot the female and her child if she did not comply with their demands.
The men ordered the female to a 1st floor where they removed a flat screen television from a stand then fled the residence with the televison and other items.
As a result of an investigation, officers identified Pedro Angel Delgado-Nieves, 27, of Hazleton as one of the men involved in the incident.
Delgado faces charges of Robbery, Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Terroristic Threats, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property.
Delgado is currently locked up at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on an unrelated offense.
