SUGARLOAF, Pa. -- On Friday, June 2nd, shortly before 9 o'clock in the morning, Police responded to 305 Tomhicken Road for a male interfering with Emergency Medical Personnel.
Once officers arrived on scene they learned that EMS was there to tend to an elderly male.
Officers then learned that 50-year-old, Charles Marcinko, of Sugarloaf held an EMT at gunpoint and made threats to kill anyone that pulled in the driveway.
Marcinko was taken into custody, arraigned on $15,000 bail and transported to Luzerne County Correctional Facility. Marcinko was charged with Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats.
While inside the residence Officers discovered multiple firearms along with thousands of rounds of ammunition.
The firearms and ammunition were seized due to the nature of the crime.
Butler Township Police Department, West Hazleton Police Department and Schuylkill County Parole assisted in apprehending Charles Marcinko.
