HAZLETON, Pa. -- On Tuesday, April 18th, at approximately 12 o'clock in the afternoon, Hazleton Police responded to the area of 20th and Church Street for a report of weapons.
Police learned that the man, 31-year-old, Samir Cajevic, had phoned another stating he was being held against his will by males with guns.
The third party caller then notified the police.
Upon arrival, officers secured the area and attempted to contact the people inside the residence.
A short time later, officers made entry into the residence and encountered the above three individuals without incident.
All three individuals were found to have fugitive warrants and were taken to LCCF.
Involved individuals are:
Officer’s recovered a .45 caliber Springfield handgun from inside the location.
The original call of someone being held against their will, is believed to be false and never actually occurred.
The investigation is said to be ongoing and additional charges may be pending upon the outcome of this active investigation.
