DRUMS, Pa. -- On the Thursday, February 16th, shortly after 7 o'clock in the morning, the Butler Township Road Department requested assistance from Police near the intersection of Saint Johns Road and Old Airport Road for a disorderly male that was in the area.
When Police arrived they learned through their investigation that a Butler Township Road Department employee was in the area of Saint Johns Road treating the township roads for icy conditions.
While the employee was treating the icy road conditions a vehicle operated by Brian Eroh, 48, Drums, was travelling east while the plow driver was travelling west and cinders struck Eroh’s windshield.
Upon further investigation it was learned that Eroh then turned his vehicle around and began following the plow truck and attempted to pass the truck several times.
Reports Police received was that there was a bus in between Eroh’s vehicle and the plow truck that he was trying to pass.
While Eroh continued to drive in a careless manner he proceeded to travel into the opposing lane of traffic and he began yelling out his window at the plow driver while he was driving until he abruptly pulled in front of the plow driver, cutting him off at very sharp curve in the area of Saint Johns Road and Old Airport Road nearly causing a motor vehicle accident.
After Eroh forced the plow driver off of the road, he exited his vehicle and began yelling while he was in the roadway.
Eroh will be cited for disorderly conduct and numerous traffic violations.
