HAZLETON, Pa. -- On Friday, August 4th, as a result of a joint investigation between the City Of Hazleton Police Department, Butler Township Police Department and the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office an arrest warrant was issued for Jhonny Pena-Guerrero.
He was charged with one count each of the following:
The charges resulted from a course of conduct occurring between Butler Township and Hazleton City.
These charges stem from repeated sexual abuse of a female child when the child was between the ages of 6 to 12.
Today, Jhonny was taken into custody by the Luzerne County Sheriff's Department after a Children and Youth Caseworker alerted the Hazleton Police of his whereabouts.
JHONNY PENA-GUERRERO was arraigned before Magistrate Croneauer and bail was set at $200,000 straight cash. Unable to post bail, He was remanded to LCCF.
The United States Marshall's Service had also been assisting with locating and apprehending PENA-GUERRERO.
