DRUMS, Pa. -- On Thursday, January 19th, at approximately 3 o'clock in the morning, Butler Township Police responded to an attempted burglary report at Sarari Plaza on 547 North Hunter Highway which is along State Route 309 near Interstate 80.
Currently police are investigating the incident.
The suspect(s) cut the cable and phone lines in the back of the business as well as a security camera cable.
Video surveillance showed the actors prying at multiple entry points of the business.
The incident was not immediately reported by the business owner.
Video surveillance showed the actors were wearing dark clothing and masks.
During the investigation Police learned that the actors may have returned back to the business on the early morning hours of 01/20/2017.
Investigators have since learned that a similar burglary took place a few miles away at a convenience store just off of Interstate 80 in White Haven Borough.
Police are asking if anyone seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in that area on the said date and times they are asked to contact the Butler Township Police Department at (570) 788-4111.
