HAZLETON, Pa. -- On Wednesday, June 21st, shortly before 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Hazleton Police responded to the Convenient Market on Juniper Street for a report of an Armed Robbery.
The unknown actor was armed with a knife and demanded money from the cashier.
The actor ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of US Currency.
Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact 911 or the Hazleton City Police, located at 40 N. Church Street.

Chief of Police, Jerry Speziale, issued the following statements in a press release:
"This individual is considered armed and dangerous and should immediately turn himself in before he encounters police and is placed in a dangerous situation"
"We will vigorously pursue this individual and intensify our efforts."
UPDATE 6/22 - 4:45 PM
Around 2:30 this afternoon,, based on intensive pressure from the investigation into the robbery of the convenience mart, 45-year-old, Louis Arcelay, of Hazleton, surrendered to Hazleton Detectives for the robbery.
He will be charged with robbery, aggravated assault, theft, simple assault, criminal mischief and has confessed to three other crimes in the city, which he will be charged with as well.
Charges are being drawn up at this time by Detective Sergeant William Gallagher and he will be arraigned shortly thereafter.
