HAZLETON, Pa. -- For almost two months now, local, state, and federal police continue their search for 26-year-old, Shawn Christy of the McAdoo area after he allegedly threatened the President of the United States, Donald Trump, via social media in mid-June of this year.
The fugitive's father, Craig Christy, has been quite vocal about the manhunt on Facebook.
In an interview with Hazleton News 1's, Shayne Balliet, Craig claims Police corruption as the reason for his son's actions.
"I was researching the Christy situation and found their group on Facebook where I saw a post about news media not publishing all of the information from their side," Balliet said to the Hazleton Headlines. "I reached out to get their information, and it turned into such a long story that it needed to be done in a documentary form. They claim there's been nine years of wrongdoing from sexting to corruption."
