SUGARLOAF, Pa. -- On Thursday, February 9th, shortly after 6 o'clock PM, Sugarloaf Police respond to the Comfort Inn Hotel for shots fired.
Officers arrived and were advised a guest staying in room 133 came to the front desk and stated a gun shot was fired through his wall from room 135.
The guest stated the round missed him by approximately four feet.
Officers identified the three occupants of room 135 as Zachary Christopher, 22, of Alabama, Antony Minish, 41, of Alabama and Darian Spicer, 22, of Alabama.
Officers were able to take the three males into custody without incident.
Through investigation the Officers discovered Zachary accidentally discharged the round through the hotel wall.
After the round was discharged the men attempted to hide the evidence of the incident in their vehicle in the parking lot.
Officers located the handgun in the aforementioned vehicle as well as another handgun.
The second handgun recovered by the Officers was reported stolen.
The three men were charged with multiple weapon related charges and were lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
