HAZLETON, Pa. -- On Sunday, May 7th, shortly before 7:30 in the morning, Hazleton Police were dispatched to the area of 4th Street and Carson for reports of shots fired.
Officers arrived on the scene and located several spent shell casings in the roadway.
Three males were seen fleeing from the area and officers engaged in a lengthy foot pursuit apprehending the above male.
Officers retraced the pursuit route and recovered a 45 caliber handgun, which was later to be determined to be stolen from West Hazleton.
20-year-old, Kahlil Campos, of West Hazleton, had an outstanding warrant through the Luzerne County Sheriff's Office and was charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm and receiving stolen property.
Campos was arraigned and bail was set at $30,000 dollars cash and transported to LCCF.
