DRUMS - Butler Township Police recently filed charges against a man following a traffic stop early this year, according to a press release.
Sean D. Farrell, 31, of Mountain Top was charged after he was observed speeding along South Hunter Highway near Rittenhouse Place on March 12th.
Police stopped Farrell and determined that his driver’s license was revoked and suspended as a “habitual offender”.
A habitual offender is a driver who has committed 3 or more “serious traffic offenses” within 5 years.
In addition, he is suspended/revoked for a DUI violation and requires an interlock device, which was not installed in the vehicle.
Farrell was charged with driving while being a habitual offender, operation of vehicle without an interlock device – both misdemeanors; driving while suspended – DUI related and speeding – 63 mph in a 40 mph zone.
