WEST HAZLETON, Pa. -- On Friday, April 14th, shortly before 8 o'clock at night, officers on patrol observed a familiar male near Advance Auto.
Suspecting the male was a wanted person, officers conducted records checks and confirmed the male was wanted by the Luzerne County Sherriff Office.
The male left the area in a vehicle prior to officers completing records checks.
A vehicle stop was initiated a short distance away and the male was taken into custody without incident.
The male, 31-year-old, Cory Bezdziecki, of White Haven, was found to have heroin and crack cocaine concealed on him.
Cory faces narcotics related charges stemming from the incident.
Cory was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility where he was lodged on the active warrant and will be formerly arraigned on narcotics charges.
