HAZLETON, Pa. -- Hazleton Police arrested 33-year-old, Vanessa Ramirez, of Peace Street in Hazleton, on Thursday, November 2nd at around 3:30 in the afternoon.
On June 17th of this year, the defendant attempted to transfer a 40 caliber Ruger handgun at a Hazleton gun shop.
Ramirez fradualenty filled out the firearms forms, stating that she was not a convict prohibiting the possession.
Ramirez pleaded guilty to F-2 Criminal Trespass, Receiving Stolen Property F-3, and Possessing Instruments of Crime M-1.
These violations prohibit her from possessing a firearm.
Ramirez was charged with Unlawful Sale of Transfer of Firearms, and Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.
She was arragined by on duty Magisterial District Judge Spagnuolo, and was released on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.
A perliminary hearing will be scheduled in the near future at Magisterial District Judge Zola's Office.
