HAZLETON, Pa. -- The Blizzard of 2017 will go down in the record books as the single biggest snowfall event in a one day. The previous record was set 23 years ago this week in March of 1993, with 18.7 inches from the blizzard respectfully known as "the storm of the century." As it continues to lightly snow across much of our area, we’ve so far recorded 24.3 inches in borough of McAdoo, Pa.
